In light of the Christmas spirit, the Lafayette division of Louisiana's Western District Bankruptcy Court made contributions to Faith House in Lafayette, LA. The mission of Faith House is to provide shelter, safety, empowerment, and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence.
Karen Hess and Clerk's staff worked hard to gather and purchase over $1500 worth of toys and gifts for the children of women housed at the shelter, who range in age from two weeks to teenagers.
The generosity of the court was appreciated by all and was a great way of connecting with the community.
