The United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana welcomes the Honorable Jeffrey P. Norman as the new bankruptcy Chief Judge for a five year term commencing on June 1, 2017. Chief Judge Norman was appointed to the bench in August 2014 and currently presides over all cases in the Shreveport Division and all Chapter 7, 11, 12 and all adversary proceedings in the Monroe Division. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role.
