United States Bankruptcy Judge John W. Kolwe was appointed by the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit, effective August 12, 2015, to the seat vacated by the retirement of United States Bankruptcy Judge Henley Hunter.  Judge Kolwe was sworn in by Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge Robert R. Summerhays, and will serve in the Alexandria Division of the Western District of Louisiana.
